What would it take to get Washington DC to disappear? Both houses of Congress has to go with it.

I was on a cruise a few years ago and in Montenegro I saw a terracotta soldier that the Chinese govt. had given (or it might've been loaned) to Kotor as a gift.

Anyone else notice number 5 was a 9000 year old settlement submerged in the mediterranean and yet number 4, a 4800 year old settlement, is the oldest submerged settlement in the mediterranean?

Fyi: The reason Herculaneum is lesser known that Pompeii is because Herculaneum is closer to Mount Vesuvius than Pompeii. Due to this fact, Herculaneum was buried deeper by the volcano and, eventually, time. Since Pompeii was/is closer to the surface, it was re-discovered earlier in "modern" history (18th century) and excavation begun. Herculaneum was not re-discovered until some time later, and because of the city's deeper burial, excavation was much more difficult until advancements in archeology were made.

The 2800BC settlement in offshore Greece is not the oldest such settlement in the Mediterranean, since the 7th millennium BC settlement off Israel is much older.

The sunken Japanese ''rock structure'' at 3:30 looks very similar to the Shri Lankan site at 4:30.

So very unnerving to come to a modern TopTenz video straight from a TopTenz from 2016. I feel like I have just committed a crime watching Simon sans beard and glasses.

That giant weird rock looks very inconvenient for a working building. some sort of temple and certainly people could be determined enough to do it if they cared to, but I doubt they cared to.

How does this guy have any time to live life? He's like Mega Brain.... Always educating the masses, worthy or not. 😂 Completely fascinating! His crew and he would have to be totally awesome to hang out with in real life! Imagine the conversations they have! ‼️💯

"What most of us don't know" That would be a Trumpesque "most" defined by whether the writer knew it rather than an actual poll of people.
