Annoying that there are scenes from everything in the world with little video from the actual topic.

In the book: "The Chronicles of Akakor" we can find a map of southern America with a network of ancient cities some above and others under the ground. They were connected by roads and tunnels. The area was inhabited by aprox. 350 million people. They lived there at least 20, 000 years.

Why do they show architecture from other civilizations, such as a roman aqueduct and Inca architecture?

So very interesting, how ancient humans lived and their knowledge of doing things to sustain them.
Planet Earth, has many unknown mysteries, it can only be brought to light by scientists and others.

Great settlements like those require an agricultural surplus, which depends on weather. A detailed study of the local climate is required. Prolonged drought or excessive rainfall might explain their downfall. It's also worth studying human remains for disease, which might sweep cities.

the conquistadors documented large cities in the Amazon. Unfortunately the small pox and other diseases wiped out the people of these civilizations, leaving the remnants to be dispersed within the jungles as a hunter gatherer people, disconnected to what they once was in the apex of their history.

I think finding new cities or city in the Amazon with 21st century tech is awesome! Perhaps they can come up with a solid theory or reason as to why the cities died out and the Mayan peoples being sorta forced in a way to disperse into other areas away from the great cities and civilizations they created for themselves. There has to be a reason to leave after some much ingenuity, implementation and application and overall efforts.

Scientists or archaeologists? They are different professionals in different science. I wonder which scientists would go round doing the work of archaeologists.

The 15th century was too early for their city to be left. The 15th century is the 1400's not the 15th. I expect better from a site like this.
