Never use abrasives cutting surface to cutting surface so sanding faces touching one another. You wear out surface much faster than actually the material your trying to prep.
And de burr your pipe before sanding them so you can further refine the edge with the abrasive. I yi yi yi.

You can just cut the handle off a normal brush and put it in a drill
