ThAnk you. I replaced my moen cartridge 1225 following your video. TIP: make sure the half moon ridges are in the correct orientation. Twist and turn to get tge right tightness and you'll get there

What's the orientation of the handle adapter around 3:30? Doesn't it matter? PLUS, I can't get the handle off. Feels like something is holding it on from inside. The dome screws off easily and the handle is loose bu.t won't pop off. I'm afraid to break it.

There is no handle screw in my handle. I can only see open threads. I have the proper Allen key but it does not grab anything. Any suggestions?

Make sure to stuff rags in the drain holes in the sink. Don’t ask why I know.

Hello, The Building Expert, while re-inserting the new cart it does not just slip all the way in, it stops approx. an inch or so
with strong resistance. What can I try to do to get this to go all the way down do you think?

So when putting my sink back together the two washer nut things over the cartridge are all threaded together under the cap. I cant get them undone. What did I do wrong?

I couldn't even remove the first screw, deep in that hole. It cannot be removed even by a Nobel prize winner. I never got a chance to see what the cartridge looked like. I reckoned I wouldn't be remove it either. I would rather get a new faucet than deal with the impossible tasks. The Moen faucet is not meant to be disassembled. Save yourself the grief and trouble. Just get a new faucet.
