2 corrections/additions @12:29 Privacy mode actually blocks all recordings for that zone. and 27:30 having multiple camera IRs on definitly will impact the experince.. I should have done them one at a time..

I got an AI Turret yesterday and set it up today. The wide field of view is amazing. I did notice that it got quite warm, even though it was almost freezing outside. I know the access points run hot, but wasn’t expecting the camera to be hot as well.

Can you say something about compatibilty with the non-dual junction boxes? Especially outdoors mounting without them is offen not possible.

Still watching the video, so I may have more comments, but it was confusing at first when you kept saying “AI Turret” and you should have been saying “Turret Ultra” as in “it’s much heavier than the AI turret.”

How are 2k cameras in the same league as 4k? I was expecting an eye popping difference.

Given they are 4K cameras, and the price points, it might have been better to compare the new AI camera's to the G4 and G5 Pro camera's, though the comparison to the cheaper and lower resolution (2k vs 4k) Ultra cameras is quite welcomed also. I think the big advantage I see with the AI Turret is that it has that inbuilt white LED for colour night vision. The AI Pro Bullet needs the extra cost of an enhancer to add this.
The thorough comparisons in the physcal attributes and the unboxing also are welcomed as no one else (so far) has been this thorough on the actual physical attributes of the camera and the highlighting of the mounting options.
This is one of the more thorough reviews I have seen for these new AI camera's, and I have been deliberately looking for them :)

Would the line crossing capture vehicles too far back in the bays?

Please test if the large connector can be hidden in the housing, so that people don't have to drill oversized holes through their homes, just to pull an oversized connector through it. The Pro models don't have this problem.

I really do like that ubiquity has brought sd cards to there cameras hopefully they bring the feature where if the nvr goes down it records to sd then when nvr comes up it fills in the missing gap like some hik units do

The RJ45 on the AI turret appears to be non shielded. How do they maintain proper grounding through the drain wire/foil of shielded ethernet cable?

Thank you for the PSA. As much as the specific issues with Kaseya, your explanation of the anatomy of these enterprises heading south and becoming garbage for business is spot on. Mediocre code base they will run until the wheels come off with more effort in sales than development.

After watching many of your Unifi videos I was surprised when you said you would never install Unifi in your customer's business because of liability concerns. Why is that? What line of cameras and access control do you install?

AI Port was supposed to release 04 DEC. They just delayed it to 18 DEC.
