This title should be edited to have Laptop in it.

Did you purposely leave out "laptop" in video title? How Nvidia of you...

Back when the 7000 series CPUs were relatively new, i had to RMA a 7950x... AMD sent me a 7950x3D as a replacement. Man I feel lucky to have gotten this CPU given the state of CPUs currently

Still feeling like a genius for buying a 7800X3D in March for $350 and not waiting

Ohh it’s a laptop gpu, I was about to be outraged about a product that I would never be able to afford!

Reason Zen 5 wasn't delayed until October is that it's a different calendar quarter, investors demand that products ship in the quarter promised.

Not being able to RMA a 7800X3D sounds quite problematic without 9800X3D being available yet..

So, they are continuing this "laptop 90 class is desktop 80 class" BS. Guys remember when GTX 1080 and RTX 2080 Super were actually in laptops under the honest names? Remember when laptop GPUs weren't the same as desktop ones before 1000 series, they had M in the name to clearly distinguish them from desktop counterparts?
How is what Nvidia doing even legal?

I really hate nvidia for how they gimp anything that isn’t their top end.

Why buy a 5080 with 256bit/16gb lmao, Jensen lost it.

The 40 series needed these 3gb modules for the lower half of gpus. Oh wait.. people would actually want those gpus so.. nevermind. Nvidia would never create value below the flagship.

The neat thing about Microcenter and Zen 5 is that you can get the price difference of any price drop within 30 days from your initial purchase. I got a 9950X at $649 and it dropped by $30 recently. When I got that credit, I also got another copy of Space Marine 2 as the new receipt reflecting the discount had a different redemption code for it.

As for early Z890 boards, there are a handful of chips out now that'll use it: embedded Meteor Lake will fit in there. They've been out for roughly six months and niche to find. Recall that Meteor Lake was to have a full desktop launch and Intel decided to go with Raptor Lake again for 14th gen. Things would be radically different today had they stuck to their original plan and only used Raptor Lake for the 13th gen.

5080 24 g under $1000.

This is what Nvidia should do if they actually cared about consumers.

But..you know

Imagine a 5090 laptop performs like 4090 with only 150w tdp for 17" ones😮

10:04 it may not make them evil but it's still scummy. . .

I mean. . . it's kinda their fault anyway. The bring out a set of 9000 series of CPU's that don't perform as well as an "older" version, then they put out an x3d CPU and make it exclusive to a single retailer (that doesn't ship) then they sit back and wonder "why is no one buying our CPU's?"
