letting go of my need to control everything

I'm a control freak, slightly neurotic and a notorious over planner. I get frustrated and anxious when things don't go to plan. But lately I've been asking myself, "what if there's better things out there than what I had planned?". This is a bit of a random sit down video, sorry if it's a ramble :)

I've just started therapy and I've realized that "control" has been preventing my life from happening. Even insignificant things such as going for a walk in a different direction felt uncomfortable. Today I've taken another path and I've discovered an amazing park. Perfect timing for this video! My new mantra is "release control". Surprising this will happen.

I don’t think I have related to someone so much on YT, younger me was so rigid and hated uncertainty( I had the same thoughts about never dating a younger guy haha 😅). I am trying to not be that person and I have never felt so much at peace with myself.
