I’m trying out a new method of cutting and here’s how it works. I should clarify, I’ve never tried cutting like this before. However I’ve been enjoying it a lot so far. There’s some literature to suggest there are benefits when it comes to maintaining your metabolism during a cut. Along with this there have even been claims of better fat free mass retention. When comparing FAT loss, your results will shouldn’t really differ. I more or less just enjoy it because it allows me more room on Friday’s and Saturday’s to go to dinner, eat a bit less restricted, etc. @biolayne and @jeffnippard both have some decent videos covering some of the research in more depth. It makes a lot of sense, certainly in terms of the physical aspect but the mental benefits of this are probably fantastic. The hardest part of cutting diets is always the mental aspect.
