I have been using Wago for about four years now. Really great product. You showed the unit for joining two wires, they also do a three and a five connector, really useful. The have a pre set torque in the spring so the shouldn't vibrate loose on a boat etc.

Dan for someone who works with wires in IT, I am surprized that Eric knows how to pronounce everything correctly over you. Atleast he prounceses it how I was taught. Thanks for showing me these. Those are cool. I have to say would have been great to know a month ago though. I was putting a ceiling fan in and these would have helped alot. Also seem reusable compared to wire nuts that eventually get stripped. Pricey compared to wire nuts but seems to be a great product. I may hve to try them out. Thank you.

Biggest advantage of these Wago connectors is that they can handle both solid and stranded wires, and wires of dissimilar diameters, better than twist-on connectors.

I just ordered a Crosstour Maxx 120-277 58 watt LED Wall Pack from CED, and inside it had these connectors. I am impressed by how well these work. I tried to pull the wires back out, not a chance! I'm sure these have been around for a long time but I might order some of these in bulk.

If you can pull the wire out (like you did at 2:21) it isn't a very secure connection. With a crimp connector (e.g., butt connector or splice cap), you can't pull the wire out of the connector without breaking the wire (assuming a proper crimp).

Also, solder is pronounced like "sodder" (rhymes with "fodder"). The "l" is silent.

Yeah im wondering how to use the clip for multi computer fans for one 12v 1.5ma power supply. I know tht it can be done but im not finding any real demonstrations on this. You guys were pretty funny which is why i stuck with the vid and subscribed but like do you know anything about how i can do this? Itll be 4 lines from the fans and 2 lines from the supply. I have the 5 outlet wagos. Will ionly need 2 or how theheck can i do it

WAGO Kontakttechnik GmbH & Co. KG is a German company that manufactures components for electrical connection technology and electronic components for decentralized automation technology.

These WAGO clamps you have were made for home use also. The grey one with orange snap lock are for flexible wires. Can also be used for solid to flex.

There are WAGOs that are for solid wires only. They come as 2, 3, 4, 5 and 8 way connectors.

what a neat concept...seems a lot more secure than the old wire nuts...in my experience you American guys pronounce it "sodder"..in England its "solder"...like these...gonna order a batch right now! just replaced all the light fittings during a remodel and would have loved to have these!!

Pretty cool connectors.  I used to hate those light switches and outlets that had the screw-on terminals.  Then they came out with the push-in terminals, and I thought that was great.  I will definitely look into those Wago connectors.  Good review.
