I can't speak to fat loss but can attest to the effectiveness of exogenous ketones (Ketone-IQ) for endurance performance. I am a completely, fat-adapted carnivore (no carbs or plants) who runs 100 miles a week on water & electrolytes. Last Sunday I ran a marathon and qualified for Boston 2024 & 2025. My pre-race meal was one shot of Ketone-IQ at the start line, and two more shots during the race. BTW I'm a 61 yo lean mass hyper-responder.

Im trying to understand the correct order to take exogenous keytones based on information im reading.
If you are in a fast mode and wake up from a sleep then take keytones are you going to burn fat. If so then you eat some carbohydrates does your body switch to carbohydrates what happens to the keytones if their not depleted does the body switch ti carbohydrates?

Have you ever added the diol keytones to an drink to mask the taste

I tried a popular mlm brand of ketones back when they first came out and honestly, it tasted so bad, I started having a Pavlovian (in a bad way, upset stomach!) response to even thinking about drinking it lol.
