"and it's not even the hardest part of learning Japanese"

Mmmm yes, the tears starts when you start learning kanji beyond 5 strokes.

When I realized that even Japanese don't use/remember every kanji, I knew it'll be the biggest challenge of my life 🤣

The hardest part of learning any language is motivation and persistence

Me: okay, I finally feel comfortable with hiragana and katakana!

This is probably the easiest part of Japanese. You just need to get the hang of it

Learning letters actually makes learning Japanese so much easier as you'll start to notice patterns in sentences

I started with them and now I'm on super basic kanji, too.

Learned Japanese has been a journey for me. Always learning but I'm struggling to make to make time to review what I have learned. But I'm forging ahead because learning the Japanese language and its culture has become a passion.

Learning Hiragana has helped my listening and speaking skills so much. I haven't learned any Katakana other than my first name.

"It's not the hardest part of learning Japanese."

Yes, would you like to meet kanji?

Kana are pretty easy, actually… and it’s a fun system to learn step by step

Kanji are a different story, they are hard as fuck and way too much, but it’s fun when they actually make sense and you feel like your understanding more and more of the Japanese culture through the writing system

For my eyes way more comfortable to read katakana, just in latin letters I prefer squared font styles.
As a hungarian might will learn some japanese, more familiar to me than english.

That look she had in the end when she said its not the hardest part she was thinking about Kanji. I was having so much fun learning Japanese until I got to Kanji. I felt like all of a sudden I had to learn Chinese. Shit is still stressing me out
