I remember reading this 30 years ago and being greatly impresses by his clear presentation of difficult ideas. Although presented to the reader somewhat in the language of science, I don't think the basic ideas would be unfamiliar to medieval mystics, yogis and holy men and women through the ages. It Even Blake, who he quotes, was obviously onto something similar. I think that as a starting point, you could do a lot worse than reading Talbot's work.

Obviously, this life has to be temporarily experienced. Spiritual evolution is the only objective. Consciousness awareness isn't just being aware that you are conscious. It's how you apply it to serve humanity - technologically advanced, materially advanced, and thus you/we are spiritually advanced.
Every lifetime, through the spiritual purification process, we accumulate spiritual development abilities. To this day, these people are living among us, but know subconscious beings are not ready to be exposed to psychic phenomena. Fear is an emotion the elite profits from.

There is this strange occurrence that happens to me EVERY single day. And i mean…every. single. day. What is this strange occurrence? well, i live very very close to town, like just a few blocks away, and i walk there everyday whether it be for work, to go get coffee, groceries, whatever, but i go the same way every single day, and when trying to cross one way, that light will be red by the time i approach the street instead of green, but if i go the other way, its the same thing, no matter which way im trying to cross, EVERY SINGLE TIME without fail, the light will be red, thus i have to wait to cross, rather than just being able to cross without stopping and waiting, now this is only just a minor inconvenience, and i used to think nothing of it, but isnt it strange that this happens everytime? its like the universe has something against me and wants me to take longer to arrive at my destination.

I loved his book The Holographic Universe. It's a must-read. For those who don't know, it was published in 1991. Which is before The Matrix (1999) and the Simulation Theory got popularised by Nick Bostrom in 2003.
