Got the amp and gas flow working for ya now brother keep it up the sky is not the limit the moon is so never stop even after you have your welds on the moon an never say it’s good enough always give everything you got

It’s looks nice but they should be running stringer beads rather than weaves because it lowers the heat affected zone and helps prevent cracking and other defects. Some shops won’t even let you run stringer beads but they look prettier so that’s why you always see them on social media. Now I’m not trying to say that weave beads should never be ran but running several stringers will make the piece stronger than one weave in the same amount of space. Weaves are also more common in the piping industry because they take up less time than running several stringers. I hope this was informative for those who know little about welding.

The second weld is a bigger diameter and thicker pipe and therefor can take/absorb more heat .
And is easier to weld.

But from the colour the right amount amperages and travelspeed was used.

Lol😂 don't even compare cap with a weld inside a bevel, it will only impress those that don't really know. Looks good though.

both have serious defects .... crater crack and loswf undercut ... even for a hot pass, next.
