If your injectors come clean by doing this they'll probably come clean by just adding fuel injector cleaner as well. If you're injectors are acting up just buy a rebuild kit and save yourself time.

This is very unlikely to shift anything - it's not acting any different to the fuel that's been flowing through this the exact same way for years. If there's a blockage it is likely resistant to this sort of flow.
