So sad to hear that Melanie passed away. My sister and I played her records a lot growing up.

Same thing. Never thought I would ever live this long (71). Went out there and did my thing and so grateful to still be here. Bless you

As a kid in the Sixties I loved this woman's voice, never knew what she looked like until the Woodstock concert on channel 13.When I finally saw her, I was truly in love.

Melanie and her music are still very special to us both after all these years. I remember hearing her for the first time on late night commercial radio that played underground stuff. I went and bought 'Born to Be' and that was the start of a life long love affair. Saw her live at the Isle of Wight and she was singing as the sun came up on that Sunday morning. That moment is very precious and I think it was the most magical experience I've ever had.

I had the great pleasure and privilege of spending a few moments with Melanie in the geodesic dome at Glastonbury Fair in 1971. She was even more beautiful than her voice. As you might imagine, this was an amazing encounter for a hippy boy from London. God bless you, Melanie, and thank you for all your time-hallowed songs, from a fellow Aquarian peace traveller.

The music of the time when I was a much younger man. Seems people my age are dropping like flies. Thank you, Melanie, for the music that contributed to many a good time. Godspeed.

I was born in 1980 and my mom was born in 1960 so I was blessed to have a mother and my grandparents who exposed me to a variety of music from even further back then the 60's which gave me an appreciation for the love of all music. This is the first time I've heard this song and I love it!
