Really love the MCs om this game compared to the Travelers. I love the Travelers too but the MCs in StarRail feel like they have more personality. Love their designs too, They remind me of Robin and Byleth from FE.

As a veteran from Epic Seven and Genshin, this game is a great mix of then, Great Video. About Natasha, totally agreed, people who are not that much into turn based combat maybe are just spending on damage, but the most important thing is to "Survive". Getting buffs, removing debuffs, Apply debuffs and so on, will impact more on high end enemies than just raw damage, so don't look too low on a character because they cannot attack, thats my advice for new players on that type of game (hope you guys get that Gepard or Bailu if you want then, they are really good for what i said)

on the early exp books/LC exp vs traces/LC ascension mats priority, as someone who hit TL30, i say that spending your pre-30 stamina on ascension mats is better because:
> you'll need ALOT more ascension mats once you hit 30. again, they're for both traces and LCs
>you get exp books/LC exp from everywhere (quests, pom-pom, chests, assignments, etc)

One thing the game doesnt tell you but IS what makes the fire trailblazer an S tier character is that his skill is a TRUE taunt. It doesnt just increase the probability theyll attack you like marchs shield or claras ult/technique. This also includes enemy abilities that lock onto a character. The taunt takes priority so theyll always attack the trailblazer. Suuuuper good char and absolutely one you should prioitize building along with natasha.

small update : Spend some Trailblaze on Calyx (Crimson) and do your Assignment for at least one character material (don't forget the EXP too with your extra Assignment)
Save your Fuel to do higher stages, or use one to get to the next Trailblaze Level milestone (20, 30, 40 and so on) or Story (24, 29 and so on) if you're really close.

original comment : I saw Envi at 40/40 and under TB 30 and already saw a big red sign. You're gonna want to level your Light Cones and Traces, which requires the materials mentioned at the start of the video. Just one character alone will easily eat up the free resources if you have not bothered using your "Resins". However, avoid prefarming as Envi said. Spend your "Resins" after you're capable of the higher stages (which should be stage 3 materials at TB 30).

Once you're in EQ1 (TL20), you do not want to farm levelup mats anymore. You only want to farm skill mats for whatever characters you intend to use. The material requirement in EQ2 is much higher to max everyone out since several more traces unlock and each individual trace costs more to level up.

Once you have all your traces capped in EQ1, look at all of the traces that require blue mats now. Count up every single one of them, and then multiple by 3, because it's 3 green mats to synth 1 blue. Do this for every character. This is how many green mats you'll need to cap everyone out in EQ2 (TL30). The blue drops are rare even in difficulty 3, so it's simply not worth waiting, especially since you get more than enough levelup materials from everywhere to cap all your characters, light cones, and even a relic set for each. There's almost no reason to farm levelup materials unless you're spreading yourself thin and trying to maintain more than 4 characters. (But you're still going to have a skill mat problem that's even worse later, so it ends up being the same.)

Also, when you're getting close to EQ2, stop spending stamina; you are going to require a new set of 'ascension' materials to ascend every character in EQ2, so have your stamina as full as possible for the transition to get it out of the way immediately. This is the most important thing, so even if trace materials are not set up, stop spending stamina if you're close.

And starting in EQ2, you want to setup all your trace mats for EQ3, but also all of your ascension mats.

I'm in EQ3 right now and because I did *not* do any this, it took me several days to max all of my traces in EQ2. And because of that, I got very little head start on EQ3, and now I'm looking at several more days of farming to cap everyone again. I imagine EQ4 will be even worse, but we'll see.


Special mention on Echo of War: save those till the end of the week, so you can clear them at your highest possible EQ. They only provide special mats for one or two traces, but give significantly better overall rewards in each EQ, so it's acceptable to target the highest EQ you can for these.

I'm going hard into making a team centered around Kafka, so I'm saving up all my Starlight for her best weapon, In The Name of the World, and wishing on Jing Yuan's banner because he apparently goes really well with her. Having a focused goal helps you restrain yourself on what you should and shouldn't be spending or using up.

Another (but pretty niche) tip, if you end up getting lucky on the "First 50 Warps" banner and pull a 5 star character early, don't spend more warps on it after your first 5 star. It only guarantees you ONE 5 STAR. This is important because there's a pity rate on the permanent banner you can start building instead. (EX: I pulled a 5 star in 20/50 beginner warps. The beginner banner pity does not transfer to the permanent one, and instead of building permanent pity I wasted 30 warps on essentially nothing)

Got rlly fortunate and pulled Bailu as my first 5 star super early and although she and Nat aren’t the same I can def say that having a healer has saved me so many times and is absolutely essential in this game. Amazing if you get her but even though I never needed to use Nat I can def vouch for the healers

You can level up your artifacts with gold dusts, which i similar to rhe bottle thing in genshin. You can buy them in the town shops and i believe you get them from chests or something. (I got ~70 of them before knowing what they are) has being using them to upgrade the 4 star artifacts and it's being a pretty smoothing experience so far. (Edit looks like the gold pieces are gained from playing in the "metaverse")

Took four days for me to beat the story line (could beaten earlier but had college n work) got to rank 35 and have that dragon kid, Wind twin tail girl and two 5 star light cones. As a ftp player it’s totally doable, if ur gonna reroll I suggest just keep going for the beginner summon till u get a good 5 star unit early n then save up for the banner summons

Make sure to battle the robots in front of the entrance so you can replenish your ultimate before battling the two bosses! And bottled soda helps a lot and you should have some in your inv

You still need to farm TRACE materials. Shop and rewards aren't enough once you go to 50 and beyond.
