Simply put, Hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling gives more workload to the GPU instead of the CPU. This can result in anywhere up to a 20fps increase in games, and even helps launch/close programs quicker.

This setting is more important is your pc is cpu bound. If you have a high end cpu you're not gonna notice too much difference.

For some reason frame generation feels smoother and almost lag-free when this option is enabled.

why is nobody doing a proper guide on this? The OP is commenting telling ppl with weak cpu disable this setting when the whole point of this setting is to help cpu bottlenecks, so they are contradicting themselves. Even during their own benchmark the cpu bottleneck is reduced and fps is increased. Also fps limiters are the truest method of managing a cpu bottleneck. So what if you have a strong cpu AND an fps limiter and/or vsync enabled? then will this setting improve anything?

hey i have a gtx 1660 with i7-6700, should i turn it on or off? my cpu is sometimes at 90-100% when playing cyberpunk or battlefield v where my gpu is only at 0-10%. I cant really see a difference in fps when i have it turned on in those games but when i play far cry 6 i gain less fps than when its off :/

i have an asus laptop with rtx4060 cpu is i7 12700H should i turn it on? i noticed in battlefield 2042 the cpu usge is 100% but the gpu around 60% sometimes lower sometimes higher but never 90s%
