Now understand i grew up in Africa we had to take cold showers we had no other options, Life was Amazing, i was always happy and positive all the time no anxiety or depression. Now i live in UK Life is so comfortable but, it doesn't give me that joy i use to have when i didn't have much. Now i choose to make my life a bit uncomfortable, like sometimes i volunteer to work in Mental Hospitals, after i finish it makes me feel so Fulfilled . I think Humans are not designed to be comfortable.

I totally, totally, totally agree! I started taking cold showers for health reasons, it lowers cortisol and inflamation, regulates body temperature increases testosterone, but what I immediately found after taking my first cold shower was exactly what was a feeling of courage and conquest - a feeling I now pursue every day.

Day 2 of cold showers:
I used to take a 30 minute shower, now it's around 7 minutes. No more waste of water and gas, and also those benefits. I think i found the meaning of life

The cold shower really saved me from depression when my wife left me and got my kid with herself, and I almost drank alcohol for 2 weeks and started thinking about leaving this world, but somehow I started looking for a help for myself and researching stuff that could put me up, then I found a cold shower habit and workout out every morning at 6am. After two weeks later it's just magic, it's just new life begins and u feel like nothing gonna stop you! and your body automatically produces dopamine and it's like you're achieved a very hard task on the table. So if anyone having a bad time I will suggest taking a cold shower this thing is a simple common recipe to look life much much better.

Finished my 30th day today. Felt a lot of the same feelings this guy was feeling. I’m so proud of myself that I can look back at those 30 days and say I did it; never missed a day, never turned it to warm, nothing.

I have been taking cold showers for abt 3 months! I’m addicted. Getting in much better shape, reaching new career goals, school goals, and have much more discipline. I feel high in there lol! And the deep breaths in cold showers feel amazing

It becomes addictive and easy after a while, highly reccomend it to anyone, so so good for you, the list is endless. Great for winter time also, keeps you warm once you leave the house.

Yep, a cold shower is a straight adrenaline rush!
Your nerves and dopamine right before are heighten!
And it's so cool to be present with that initial sensation, and then find your calmness.

The mind is sharp as a tack after that :)

wish i knew this information when i was going to high school, i used to get awful pimples and acne and straight through age 20 but after i started taking cold shower my acne has completely cleared, Im 21 now and taking cold showers improved my skin, health and knee pains(since i cycle alot). Cold showers are a pain but its a good starter for getting out of your comfort zone.

Completely agree. Started lifting weights, and heard that cold showers helps with soreness. But it also completely brightens my day, and from someone who suffers from depression, its so meaningful
