Securely Wiping All Internal Drives from the Dell UEFI BIOS Setup Using Dell Data Wipe (OptiPlex)

Securely Wiping All Internal Drives from the Dell UEFI BIOS Setup Using Dell Data Wipe in an OptiPlex 7040. The menus are similar for the OptiPlex 7050, OptiPlex 7060 and likely the newer OptiPlex Desktops and Latitude Laptops.

The newer XPS models seem to use the traditional UEFI BIOS Setup opposed to the touchscreen block UEFI BIOS which was present in 6th generation XPS laptops. A video for Dell Data Wipe in the block UEFI BIOS setup is available here:

I did something wrong trying to reset my old computer to resell it & lost user profile, which lead to being unable to sign in to do anything more. Googled all kinds of options...no joy. Then trying to repair the PC using the tool kept getting repair failed. Set in loop, I went to BIOS to try booting from USB install Windows 10, & of course that failed multiple times. Again googled multiple options & again, no joy.
Then in BIOS I saw the Data Wipe option. Googled to see if it might solve the issue & this video was one of the results.
With one or 2 difference for my Dell system, this worked perfectly. Thank you!!!

So using the "Data Wipe" feature under BIOS - Security completely erases the HDD/SSD of all data, files, & the OS? How can I get around the "Go Health" login? I found, yes found a Dell Latitude 3510, (about 1 week ago) with what appears to be Win 10 (I think it can be upgraded to Win 11) and all I want to do is to do a factory reset on the laptop. Thank you. As a kind of hobby I look for electronics in dumpsters and curbside stuff. Found a Toshiba Satellite A505 with Win Vista 😴 & a Centrino! Unit still works, screen is sharp, battery holds a charge! Do you have a video on how to correctly use the Dell BIOS (?) Recovery feature for a Factory reset? Also, if you do use the Data Wipe, does it (under BIOS) reset itself to "Off"? Or do you have to manually select "Off" before you proceed with a new OS install? Thank you 🤓 also, is it worth it to do a clean install of Win 11, if the laptop can support it, or just go with Win 10?
