🔴Colon cancer (also known as colorectal cancer) is among the top 3 cancers worldwide. Because of that, many screening tests have been developed to catch colon cancer early. In addition to screening tests, it is essential for us to be familiar with colon cancer symptoms. In the present video we plan to go over 6 early signs and symptoms of colorectal cancer. Besides, several important questions about colorectal cancer are answered:

There are 6 relatively common symptoms and some other uncommon, bizarre ones. Among all symptoms, there is a very common sign we will talk about.

Folks, being a man and rather shy about medical exams regarding colons and prostates, just get the exams done. Wishing away symptoms or simply ignoring them is foolish and selfish. Always remember the gift of life and that these tests can save you years though early detection and prevention. Live to be in your 70's and more if you detect these diseases early rather than die in your 50s and 60's. Really the tests are easy.

Sometimes there are ZERO symptoms... I had no symptoms, no family history.. And was diagnosed with stage 3B rectal cancer through a routine colonoscopy.. Happy ending though.. Coming up on 3 years cancer free!

My aunt had colon cancer when she was 60 and they removed about a foot of her colon, but luckily because it was higher up, she didn't need a bag. This was 20 yrs ago & she's been cancer free since.

The only symptom I had was anemia and as a woman it was dismissed- I was diagnosed at 39 with stage 3c bowel cancer. 3 years later I am still fighting this ongoing battle!

I know it sounds strange but have a flash light handy in your bathroom to quickly examine your BM every time . If something is strange give it a week, clean up your diet and wait for results, if strangeness persists, doctor time. Don’t wait.

Colonoscopies aren't that bad. You do a day of prep which sucks but on the day of the procedure you check in to the facility, get gowned, do a little paperwork, lie down in a gurney, they put you out and next thing you know you're waking up and getting ready to go back home! It's so relieving to get a clean bill of health afterwards.

I had two Colonoscopies so far, 5 years from each other. I will go for my next one 5 years from now. They found two small polyps during my first colonoscopy, but none in the second one. My plan is that if they find many polyps all of a sudden, which I doubt might happen, I will choose to remove my entire colon. I want to live in this cruel, but sweet world. I have read that people can live without their colon. My mother had colon cancer.

I was too shy to get help until I was so tired I could hardly walk without being out of breath and burped all the time.
shingles got me to the E R where my complaint was pain and constipation. I was diagnosed with severe anemia at 62 hemoglobin and needed multiple blood and iron transfusion. A four centimetre polyp was found in my colon. Luckily, it was not cancerous, but I must have another colonoscopy after 12 months

I had a colonoscopy today. My doctor found 2 polyps. He removed 1, & almost all of the other 1. Now I'm patiently waiting for the results. Colon cancer runs in my family. I know finding polyps doesn't necessarily means cancer.

I am 58 and just had my first colonoscopy...nothing to it...they found 3 benign polyps that would have eventually caused me problems. The doctor told me that if everyone got regular colonoscopies the deaths by colon cancer would drop by 92 percent. Just do it. Beats the alternative

Going in for colonoscopy at 38. Have had pencil thin stools every time for a month+, bloody stools, painful gas/abdomen (always left lower), constant fatigue, weak and tired. Sleeping all day long. Been going on for 2 weeks with that. My mom had like 3 polyps removed recently and so did my dad (he had 3 colonoscopies!) Anywho, not even worried or scared of anything. Just want to get it done and find out whats going on ugh lol

I had a good friend who had severe stomached at 20. In his early 40 he had recurrent issues they dismissed it as stomach issues within 3 years he was dead of colon cancer. I think any stomach issues should be taken seriously.

Good luck getting a colonoscopy. Even with a doctor referral, my HMO has scheduled me for an appointment over ten months from now. They tell you it's important, but don't act like it.

When my husband went in for a colonoscopy in 2004 to remove the 2 polyps the doctors had found, they told him (and I) that they had gotten the polyp. I said, they were to remove 2 polyps. They told me they had made a mistake in reading the screening, and that there was only one. I said, well that's weird, for I had seen the imaging.I asked them, what if you tried to get the and polyp and didn't, and now its free-floating around in his body? That just wouldn't happen, they replied. Two years later my husband was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, and died 2 years after that
