If you change your PS5 settings under Game Presets to Performance Mode, certain monitors (MSI and BENQ are best with Consoles right now I think) will run those games at 120 fps 1080p. Also it’s actually a misconception that you need HDMI 2.1 for 120 fps. HDMI 1.4b can handle 1080p 120 fps. It’s easy to get confused on this topic so I wanted to speak up from my research/experience

Just bought a 32'' msi curved monitor with hmdi 2.1. Not gonna lie 3260×2160 @ 120hrts game changing. Also hdmi 2.1 is very affordable

So you're saying that high refresh rate monitors may not have an hdmi 2.1 port? Your arent very clear here at 4:45

Awesome video question can you do reviews on the newer lg samsung tvs when they come out im not buying a 2021 model im holding off for a 2022 model for ps5 sounds like the lg c1 is the best bet for 4k gaming for tv

it might be extra work but what if you attach HDMI to a HUB that can support higher rates and then do display port to monitor. Or is the cable itself restricting?

The video is kinda outdated now tbh, im trying to buy a good monitor but almost all video's are way before 1440 came to ps5 etc so kinda pointless to watch and not helping at all sadly.
