I just added D-Ribose to my regimen of supplements a few weeks ago, because of your video, and I felt energy immediately. I had been taking Taurine already for a number of months ago. I I lost 20 pounds, and do more exercise. I am feeling much better than I did 1 year ago, with palpitations, high triglycerides, cholesterol, Stage 1 diastolic dysfunction, plaquing, and varicose veins, etc. and am still able to work at 68 years old. Thankful.

I take 10 to 15 grams a day, mainly in my morning coffee. If I am going to ride my bike for 30 to 50 miles I'll put 10 grams in each of my two water bottles. I'm 70, and I'm not a doctor, but I believe i am smarter than the bottom half of any class of so called doctors anywhere.

Ever since Pfizer vaccine I had heart pumping harder than it should. Easily fatigued. Went to functional Dr and we are working on gut issues Sibo for example. I still don’t have relief from my symptoms of fatigue though. Will these supplements help? And are they temporary or lifelong to take?

Hello Dr Livingood! Thank you for a great video. A question: Does D-Ribose affect your sleep? I’ve got a very weak heart and I’m a recovering chronic insomniac. I really need to know, please, your opinion on this.

Hi Dr Livingood, I have Afib and have been taking D Ribose (5g per day) for a while now and felt absolutely great on it. However, I recently read about studies (done on mice) suggesting there is a link to Dementia. I stopped taking it a week ago and it's hit me like a ton on bricks. Depression, aches and pains etc. Do you know if taking D Ribose in a relatively small dose is safe? I'm desperate to start taking it again!

Is the powder form good to take? Or should I take it as capsule, liquid?

A couple electrolyte drink tablets a day seems to of eliminated my arrhythmia. I highly recommend people to at least try it

The binding of RAGE by AGEs evokes a vicious cycle of increased oxidative stress and inflammatory reaction, leading to subsequent cell and tissue injury (Vlassara 2001), such as has been found in chronic renal diseases (Tanji et al. 2000). This led us to hypothesize that d-ribose activates NF-κB and induces mesangial cell damage and renal dysfunction, in which AGEs and RAGE play a role.

If you have true heart conditions 750 mg is way too low if a dose. 5mg minimum per day up to 30 mg per day. Mega dosing D-Ribose has very low negative side effects.

So for stress cardiomyopathy…taurine or ribose d? How much? Containers doses are a larger amount then what you recommend.

Thank you! I will see if this is needed since I already have figured out a few issues that being on arrhythmias.

For me, it started with learning about dehydration. Next, it was about electrolyte imbalance - salt in particular since I rarely took any in (getting saline in the ER helped me realize that and then seeing my labs on it).
