Creed III is a 2023 American sports drama film directed, produced by and starring Michael B. Jordan (in his directorial debut) from a screenplay by Keenan Coogler and Zach Baylin. It is the sequel to Creed II (2018), the third in the Creed film series, and the ninth overall in the Rocky film series. It also stars Tessa Thompson, Jonathan Majors, Wood Harris, Mila Davis-Kent, Florian Munteanu and Phylicia Rashad. In the film, the accomplished and recently retired boxer Adonis Creed (Jordan) comes face-to-face with his childhood friend and former boxing prodigy Damian Anderson (Majors).

When I watched this in theaters I couldn't understand why Adonis took that punch from Dame like that, then I remembered later on that he had just took that gun from his homeboy in the beginning, so much respect to Donnie for having that much control in that moment to think about how worse it could have been if he would have hit him back.

Damian is the movie villain. The real villain is Adonis' mom for keeping the letters from him. Damian probably would have never turned out like that if they wrote to each other. It's like she never anticipated him getting out of prison 🤦🏾‍♂️

And this specific conflict could have been resolved if he just explained that to him.

All that being said, Majors' acting is always SUPERB. He's convincing in every role, like here.

Jonathan Majors is a phenomenal talent, a once in a generational star. When it is all said and done, he will be remembered as one of the greatest to ever grace the screen, up there with legends like James Dean, Marlon Brando, Robert DeNiro and Al Pacino.

You can see for a split second dame still acts like a big brother when he hits Donnie he crouches down and says “lemme see” and then when Donnie hits his hand away he snaps back into the bad guy mode

The moment he showed up at his truck, he was sizing Adonis up from the beginning. Then, at the restaurant when he tried giving him some money, he said "i dont want no hand out" but then turned around and asked for Adonis to basically put him on. He had a plan from the jump. You gotta be careful with people who envy you like that. it's scary .

My favorite movie I've watched in a while and it's because of Majors. I always love a villain / antagonist I understand or sympathize with and he played that role really well. Was excited to see his career skyrocket after Creed III but that won't happen now
