This scene gave me so many emotions from sadness when Adrian says you cant win to anger and wanting revenge when Rocky is having those flashbacks while driving. Love this franchise

That sounds more like fear than doubt. She was just afraid of losing her husband especially after what Ivan had just done to Apollo.

The evolution of Rocky was what really got me. He had so much self doubt all the way through Rocky III. But all that he had been through, the wars with Creed, coming back and beating Clubber. This version of Rocky knew Drago could never match his heart and desire, and he was willing to bet his life on it.

You can't blame Adrian for feeling the way she feels. Even while not in top form, Apollo was an excellent physical specimen, yet he was literally killed in just a little over one round. Mary Anne Creed is now a widow after watching her husband, and the father or their two kids, *needlessly* die right in front of her. That's something that Adrian understandably has no desire to experience.

Watch her speech to him about being afraid in 3. The whole thing is flipped here. She doesnt want him to fight and Rocky isnt afraid to die to avenge Apollo. How she ends up supporting him no matter what, these movies have so much heart and soul. Still inspiring people to this day.

People always talk about the "you cant win line" and while it's amazing, something i have always lived by ever since a young kid watching this movie for the first time. Is that yeah maybe i cant win in life, sport matches or whatever else. But i am willing to die and give 100 percent towards my goals and ive always had this belief that whatever is out there to stop me needs to have the same mentality to stop me. So its the lines after the " you cant win line" that actually get me emotional and holds the most power in my opinion
