Crazy seeing how much the company would grow under Stone Cold. The WWF/WWE was in a bad way in 96, but that would all start changing in 97 and by 98 Austin was breaking records set by Hogan. You just know when Austin turned heel in 2001 he wanted to be more vicious like he is here in this video you can even see it early on during the 2001 heel turn.
But it just was never going to get him consistently booed, so he had to alter his did not have great results. Also, the interview between Brett and Austin at 1:28:43 is some of the best stuff ever. Austin was amazing.
