I love Bret. He was one of my childhood heroes. Didn’t even know how much he helped other wrestlers. ICON.

Bret was one of those guys who just gave back to the business every chance he got. He helped a young Mark Henry, and he eventually turned into a dominant world champion with his “Hall of Pain” run. He helped a young Dwayne Johnson, and he became The Rock, one of the biggest stars in wrestling history. He helped a young Steve Austin, and Austin became The Face of the WWE. Bret Hart truly is the Best There Is, the Best There Was and the Best There Ever Will Be.

Always loved Bret Hart. He's the blueprint for being a picture-perfect wrestler and making the best of every match. The excellence of execution.

Vince didn't mentor Brett; Brett mentored Brett.

Being from Canada I was always a huge Bret hart fan. I remember being so anxious for his matches and being on the edge of my seat as a kid every time he wrestled. His matches were always so intense.

He is a such a service to the industry, he pass the torch a million times and made it look easy. But it wasnt, being a leader is never easy.

From the first time I met him in 1994 at the WrestleMania Fan Festival to this day, Bret had my ever-growing respect. In addition to what he put in his matches, he proved to be both a man of class. For me, Bret has been an inspiration to face life, what it brings, and never to give up no matter how difficult the situation(s). Hearing from Mark Henry and Edge almost brought me to tears. It showed how Bret wanted to bring out the best in others. Thanks for this upload--I needed this reminder of this man who has inspired me.

I met Bret a few years back. One of the nicest people I've ever met. Gives you the time of day.

Bret was alway like the Daniel Day Lewis of wrestling to me. Sure he may not have been as charismatic and flamboyant as some of his contemporaries. But, when he was on my TV especially when he was in the ring, I knew he was for real! Everyone else maybe have been playing a part or acting or performing or whatever you wanna call it. But he seemed to be doing it for real. That’s why he’s 100% the greatest worker of all time. Excellence of Execution fit him perfectly.

Bret was the man who got me into wrestling I've gone back through most of his career as I didn't start following wrestling until late 95 but talk about classic matches that man knew how to put on a show. Always be my fav wrestler hands down. It wasn't stone cold, it wasn't the rock, wasn't hogan, it was the excellence of execution

Bret by far exceeds any wrestler that has EVER wrestled.

It's always nice to see Bret getting credit. Shawn Michaels was Bret's biggest peer late in the 90s and because of who Shawn is friend's with now and the standing those people hold in the WWE, it seems everything is always Shawn, Shawn, Shawn, when they talk about 90s WWF. But the fact is Bret's style of work was always more believable than Shawn's.

I'm glad to see that his mentor aspect is being shown because many documentaries just breeze past it on wrestlers.
