It’s not about Tim Walz calling Trump & Co. weird. It is his messaging. Things he say does resonate with middle class and others because they can picture his message and can relate with them. It doesn’t sound fake because if you’re trying to artificially connect with others without the credible substances, listeners will know and will ring hollow. But Walz’s messaging does not ring hollow because his message rings solid because you know he went through the things he mentioned, you can actually picture him doing it and gives off an immediate vibe that he IS one of us and not the fake elites trying hardest to portray their artificial empathy. Not only Walz talks the talk but he also walks the walks so that gives him even more credibility that he WILL work for us and not against us.

(1) Almost all of the YouTube stuff that I notice from Forbes has a pro-Republican bias, so I wondered how they would cover this more or less Democratic piece.

(2) The lady seems more negative (I guess she is a typical Forbes personna?) and the guy seems reasonable, but not compelling. Of the several things I have just watched, Walz himself seems reasonable but not compelling. Unfortunately, Walz strikes me (subjectively) as a shadow of Biden, not that great a speaker, older white male kind of conservative for a Democrat. I guess the less compelling I find him, the better chance for him to pull in the voters who find Kamala too dynamic or too progressive?
