You can resolve your monetization problem of using reused content in a couple ways. The first thing you can try is editing your videos differently. You need to involve your face cam more with the reused content. If you have a personality to the channel, your more likely to get away with using reused content on your YouTube channel. You can get monetized using reused content by calling your channel a reaction channel.

Most YouTube channels that are not approved for monetization when using reused content is because they don’t have a face or personality to the channel. It’s becoming more a bigger deal for YouTube for you to show your face on your channel.

I was monetised for over a year with no issues, every video I ever did got a green money sign, yesterday I get this message saying I have been demonetised for using "re-used" content. All my videos are 100 percent my own work and done by me. I did the appeal and they came back saying "We cannot determine if the videos you do are your own work or you are using somebody else's videos". I cannot re-apply for another three month now.

Well, in my case, I worked for 5 years to get monetized. Then, we were finally monetized for one month before getting demonetized for no reason—literally no reason. Back then, my channel was about gaming live streams, playing games, and walkthroughs. When I reached out to the YouTube team to find out why I was demonetized, their response was very vague with no proper reason. I panicked and deleted over 400 gameplay videos, which I had spent hours and months creating. Bottom line: it's heartbreaking that YouTube is not as transparent as they claim to be and is not as creator-centric as they suggest. It seems they find random reasons not to pay creators so they can save a lot of money. Sorry for being negative; this was my experience, and now it's been 3 years since I was monetized.

The bottom line is that life on YouTube is not guaranteed. Regardless of whether we copy content or create our own, they may demonetize you without warning. In my opinion, their purpose is to serve the top 1% of creators and disregard the rest. I would not recommend YouTube to new creators; I don’t want them to suffer like I did. Years of effort and hard work can be wiped out overnight. They don’t care if you have 1 million or 100, 000 subscribers; they will demonetize you if they choose. if you are not part of their top 1% US Based Creator
