Which of these chains are you looking forward to seeing more of?

Chick-fil-A is a wonderful place to go for lunch after attending Sunday morning services, and then going to Hobby Lobby for your crafting suppies.

Only tried WingStop once after our favorite local wing placed closed in the midst of the pandemic. Ordered six wings for the wife, twelve for me plus the blue cheese sauce and fries, came out to 40 bucks! Went in there, the guy at the counter was fixated on his phone, but said it would be ready in a couple of minutes. After a few minutes handed me two bags, and said have a nice day. Got home after a 20 minute drive, opened the bags. Had one big box with 6 wings and a quart bucket of BC Dressing. Needless to say was peeved, 40 bucks for 6 wings. Haven't been back to another WStop, and most of the other places are pretty lacking with dry stringy wings and lackluster fries. Unfortunately it seems the more stores these chains open, it seems the quality ratchets down bit by bit for them all.

It’s insane to see Tropical Smoothie Cafe get a big resurgence. Those were starting to close down in CA around 06 or so, and they were so damn good! It’s great to see them still here :)

How are all these expansion plans going to work out considering the established names are already having a very tough time keeping staff on hand? Waaay to many places out there already who needs another "fast casual burger" joint at the strip mall... support your local mom & pop restaurant if possible

True Kitchen expansion is great just unfortunate they won’t be located near neighborhoods that could benefit from the healthy menu.

Firehouse Subs immediately started going downhill when it expanded along with Steak n' Shake.

Can’t say I agree with Marco’s Pizza being “everywhere in 2023”, at least not in the Phoenix area. There used to be a bunch of them here but they’ve all closed except for one store out in Mesa. There was one right down the street from me but they were trying to compete with a dozen other local pizza joints and given they wanted $22 for a 14” pepperoni pizza it was easy to predict they weren’t going to last long.

I grew up with a tropical smoothie. My parents never went there often but when we did get an occasional smoothie, it was great

Freddys Steakburgers is also expanding to Canada. They have plans to open at least 20 locations in every province excluding Quebec

By the year 2032, all restaurants will be Taco Bell. -Demolition Man (1993)

I don't see how any of them are going to stay in business. It's easily over $20 for a couple to go out to eat. Prices are going to keep going up and we get the same substandard quality and service.

The key to any of these franchises is management--if the managers hire good people and train and supervise them properly. That is the big post-Covid challenge.

Been to a Freddy's. Most everything I saw on the menu you could find at Steak & Shake for less money. To quote Mr. Scrooge, Bah, Humbug.

Shake shack is awesome! Had it for the first time in the original Madison square park location back in 2012-2013 and I’ve loved it ever since.

The smokeshack is my favorite fast food burger.

Cane's and flavorful chicken seems... extra generous.

There's a Shake Shack in Schaumburg, IL, and my husband and I ate there once this summer (motivated by other Mashed videos, and it was close to places we were shopping at up there). It was OK, although a bit pricey for fast food. Five Guys is a much easier upscale burger place for us to get to, as it has locations in more of the towns we shop in on the weekends.
