For us, it just costs TOO MUCH to eat out at restaurants. I don't want to pay $20+ bucks for a single person meal, and it's often not as good as you can make at home. When I fix meals at home, it's like less than $5 bucks per person (probably $3.50 or $4.00). So, that's why I've learned to cook, especially during Covid, and we eat fair-priced at home. Middle class families can't pay $70 / $ 80 bucks for two parents, two small kids, and a little meal for Momma to take home. It's not worth almost $100 bucks by time you do taxes and tips. Everything over-priced.

Idk how Boston market is still in business, never have I ever heard anyone say “man I’m craving some Boston market” lol

The idea that Buffalo Wild Wings' boneless wings are "dishonest" is hilarious. You'd have to be an absolute moron to think boneless wings are made from chicken wings. As the court ruled in that ridiculous lawsuit.

Raising prices while lowering quality never seems to be the blame...

WIll come up with a million excuses but never anything that actually addresses customer issues.

Who doesn't know that boneless wings have always been chicken nuggets?

Local Mexican and chinese restaurants are the only places affordable in my town. I rarely go to national chains anymore, the prices are out of control. Local mom and pops is where it's at if i don't cook.

growing up we hardly ate out, and was accustomed to homemade meals. prices and hit or miss food is really the main factor on why we don’t eat out anymore.

Also, several Boston Market locations in Massachusetts and Connecticut are facing eviction from their properties.

When Applebee's first opened, they had their own unique identity that stood out from the rest of the chains. Their walls were adorned with classic movie posters and autographed celebrity photos and movie props [all this BEFORE Planet Hollywood came along] and this made them creatively different. But in the late 90's they 'sold out' and removed all the movie memorabilia and became just another sports bar. They lost their unique identity and became another generic and forgetful establishment. It seems to me that if Applebee's wants to save themselves, they need to return to the original branding-eliminate all the sports crap and go back to the movie motif. The nostalgia factor alone would bring back the customers who remember the original decor.

Applebees food just gets worse and worse.

The whole restaurant experience has become a drag. From having to wait for seating, waiting for service, waiting for your food. Costs too much and now they pressure us and guilt us into leaving bigger tips.

When Fudruckers took away the huge condiment bar they lost me.
I always built myself a burger from heaven. My husband are at Fudruckers twice a week so we could try the different condiments on that table.
My favorite was the sauteed mushrooms and that crispy crispy bacon!
The avocado was always fresh and perfectly ripe. They had the best mustard varieties, infused mayonnaise, and singing about their ketchup, it just didn't taste like Heinz or Del Monte catsup. It reminded me of my grandma's homemade catsup.
Their French fries were crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. They suddenly became like In & Out fries, Soggy and floppy 😣
I understand why Fuds is folding, they took all the best they were and threw it away.

Boston market sucks, so does Buffalo Wild Wings🤮. Hard to believe White Castle is in trouble.

Good riddance to Buffalo Wild Wings...possibly the slowest/worst service I've experienced more than once. They were actually the fastest during the pandemic, but pre-post...slow as molasses. It's like they don't want to hire any people. I miss fuddruckers, we used to have one, but it closed down mid-pandemic.

Awwww, am I supposed to feel bad for a bunch of mediocre sit down restaurants that constantly raise the prices and refuse to pay their staff a living wage? Boo hoo!!!

Buffalo Wild Wings is the only place I've ever dine and dashed from. It wasn't busy yet our server was nowhere to be found. Never got a drink refill. Nachos came out cold, my wings were also cold. I was still gonna pay and we waited for our server to return. After 35 minutes I called it quits and we dipped

I feel that Old Time Buffet purchasing Ryan's Steakhouse at the end of 2006 marked the beginning of the end for that franchise

Only heard of Boston Market in our area. Food was fairly good if you wanted comfort food. Many stopped there on their way home from work.
