Why You Should Buy The Halo: Master Chief Collection in 2021

Halo: The Master Chief Collection is a compilation of first-person shooter video games in the Halo series, originally released in November 2014 for the Xbox One, and later on Microsoft Windows through 2019 and 2020. An enhanced version was released for the Xbox Series X|S in November 2020. The collection was developed by 343 Industries in partnership with other studios and was published by Xbox Game Studios. The collection includes Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary, Halo 2: Anniversary, Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST, Halo: Reach, and Halo 4, which were originally released on earlier Xbox platforms.

Each game added to the Master Chief Collection received a graphical upgrade, with Halo 2 receiving a complete high-definition redesign of its audio and cutscenes, exclusive to the collection, to celebrate its 10th anniversary. The game includes access to the live-action series Halo: Nightfall as well as the Halo 5: Guardians multiplayer beta that was available for a limited time. The collection's multiplayer features every map originally released with each game, including six Halo 2 maps remade from the ground up.

At launch, critics generally praised The Master Chief Collection for its updated audio and visuals, as well as its quantity of content, but was also met with negative reception for its multiplayer aspects due to a significant number of bugs and poor matchmaking experiences. Many of these technical issues were later fixed in post-release patches.

I never played halo during its prime i just bought it a couple of months ago. And i gotta say this is probably one my favorite multiplayer games of all time. At first i sucked ass at this game but then i started learning the mechanics and its hella fun definetly buy it when its on sale

I just bought around a week ago the master chief collection for $20. I beat halo CE Halo 2 and Halo 3 years ago. But never beat ODST reach 4 or 5. Halo CE was the thing that got me into video games in 2003 I went out and bought an xbox after playing it for the first time at a friends and they thought I was crazy for never hearing of the game before.

Glad you got the collection and were able to enjoy it. The MCC may be a collection held together by duct tape and a dream, but it's still pretty well put together for what it is.

I got a series x, I bought halo infinite really enjoying it! I drove by a yard sale and found the master chief collection on disc for $20 I'm like hell yes! Popped the disc in the series x instantly recognized it, so now I got series x enhanced modes for the game! Dude it runs so good

Halo CE is probably the FPS game that holds such a special place in my heart, more than any other shooter. It was so ahead of its time and had such a compelling story and iconic characters that it filled me with so much wonder and joy (and still does to this day). The Halo franchise is the reason I’m still a passionate gamer so many years later. 🙏🏻

I’ve been a Halo fan since 2001. I have two MCC complete games cause I bought one when it first came out. The other I found for $10 at my local pawnshop plus I collect games and can’t go wrong with having to many copies of classic games.
