The main aspect that makes the Great Pyramid being a construct of Egyptians 3000 years ago unlikely was the sheer weight and number of blocks involved. I'd suggest they could move maybe one block into place in a week. And even then it would be wrong.

What strikes me about that famous pharaoh Khufu isn’t that he built Great pyramid, but the fact that he managed never mention that fact in any document that survived till our time. With exception of small graffiti like misspelled cartouche with his name inside of the pyramid there’s nothing else to tie him to pyramid he spent huge fortune and couple of decades to build. The same could be said about his son and grandson who supposedly built the other two pyramids of Giza.
Truthfully those three are the most modest kings in the history of the world.
