A lot of this resonated with me. I've done belief work before and know that a lot of our subconscious beliefs can affect what we do and how we react. I also know its not a good idea to get in a power struggle but sometimes i think i need to try my best to control his behavior or he's not going to improve or he's going to get worse. Definitelty coming from a place of fear and stress. I'm so defeated right now and my husband blames our son's behavior on me which i think is why i then try to make my son be better because that’s what my husband says i need to do and i feel pressure from him and others to "make" my son more respectful and nice.

What do you do when you've tried all of this and it still doesn't work? They just continue to choose the bad choice over and over and over and over regardless of the consequences they're suffering...to the point where you can't even build a relationship with them because they are just literally constantly trying to screw with you and do bad things and it's so exhausting you don't even want to be around them anymore?

This doesn’t work with kids with ODD. Would you watch them taking drugs and not use control
