Two of my favorite Linux distros include: elementary OS for it's simplicity, great UI/UX implementation, ecosystem, user-friendliness and Arch Linux for its power, flexibility, documentation, community, minimalistic approach and user orientation.

I love the os but there are too few apps in the store. I love snaps though. FINALLY apps install as easily as on windows. It means I am now free of win.

is it easy to update to new version ? not like linux mint, who supposed to call themselves user friendly yet have non- friendly way to upgrade between newer versions

Vidéo complète, avec de bons arguments et facile à comprendre ! Même si cette vidéo est sortie il y a quelques mois, elle est toujours à jour ! Un seul défaut que je peux trouver avec Elementary OS pour le moment c'est que certaines animations smne sont pas très fluides sur des PC anciens (en fait je parle d'un Notebook de plus de 10, le HP Pavilion Dv5, donc c'est un peut normal).

Complete video, with great arguments and it's easy to understand! Even if this video came out a few months ago, it's still up to date! One small default I can find with Elementary OS is that some animations aren't that fluid on old Pcs (in fact I'm talking about a Notebook that is more than 10 years old, the HP Pavilion Dv5, so it's normal).

I tried it.. It's cool but scaling was an issue.. I'm eyesight Impaired. Need scaling of 200. I liked it tho and will run it on a vm

Yes! but unfortunately, the video in full screen in the second screen using the nvidia card, they have not fixed it yet. I can not work with a single screen.

I like elementary os, it has some problems when i install nvidia proprietary drivers, but nothing major.

i installed Juno and deactivated sleep mode but it keeps entering on sleep mode and in the morning all my work is gone...any help???

But how often do the applications update? Can I use the latest version of an application such as Visual Studio Code, or Firefox? Or do I have to wait a few months before the update even becomes available?

One more reason is that they follow Mac OS's and material design philosophy - so simplle yet use full

Snap does work but it doenst show up just like in ubuntu. So i switched back, maybe there is a way but i don't have time for that :D

Elementary doesn't use awesome Elementary uses Pantheon desktop
