FALSE DOCTRINE TAUGHT IN MANY CHURCHES

Below are several beliefs that are taught in the church which are false:

Once saved always saved.

This doctrine causes people to justify their sin and stay in it instead of repenting and walking in the fruit of the spirit.

‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭6‬:‭4‬-‭6‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
“For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted the heavenly gift, and have become partakers of the Holy Spirit, and have tasted the good word of God and the powers of the age to come, if they fall away, to renew them again to repentance, since they crucify again for themselves the Son of God, and put Him to an open shame.” If you choose to not repent and continue living a sinful life you are not obeying the Bible and will not go to heaven. Matthew 7:21-23

Christians can’t be oppressed by demons

This doctrine causes Christians to not believe they need to be delivered from demons. Thus they stay in their sin and never change to walk in the fruit of the spirit. They tend to turn to medications to deal with spiritual issues like anxiety and fear and anger and you cannot medicate out a demon.

Matthew‬ ‭18‬:‭32‬-‭35‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
“Then his master, after he had called him, said to him, ‘You wicked servant! I forgave you all that debt because you begged me. Should you not also have had compassion on your fellow servant, just as I had pity on you?’ And his master was angry, and delivered him to the torturers until he should pay all that was due to him. “So My heavenly Father also will do to you if each of you, from his heart, does not forgive his brother his trespasses.”” Demons torture Christians in their souls (minds) until they forgive everyone, repent for pride and sin.

Matthew‬ ‭6‬:‭14‬-‭15‬ ‭
““For if you forgive men their sins, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their sins, neither will your Father forgive your sins.”

God hates divorce so if you divorce due to emotional abuse you are disobeying God

Malachi‬ ‭2‬:‭13‬-‭16‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

“And this is the second thing you do: You cover the altar of the Lord with tears, With weeping and crying; So He does not regard the offering anymore, Nor receive it with goodwill from your hands. Yet you say, “For what reason?” Because the Lord has been witness Between you and the wife of your youth, With whom you have dealt treacherously; Yet she is your companion And your wife by covenant. But did He not make them one, Having a remnant of the Spirit? And why one? He seeks godly offspring. Therefore take heed to your spirit, And let none deal treacherously with the wife of his youth. “For the Lord God of Israel says That He hates divorce, For it covers one’s garment with violence,” Says the Lord of hosts. “Therefore take heed to your spirit, That you do not deal treacherously.”” God hates the abuse which causes the divorce. If the abuser would get delivered then he or she would change and treat their spouse with love and respect.

“But if the unbeliever departs, let him depart; a brother or a sister is not under bondage in such cases. But God has called us to peace.”
When a “believer” is emotionally abusive they have left the marriage emotionally and are a danger to their spouse. If they refuse to get delivered the abused spouse must get away.

We should never judge anyone

Causes people to tolerate those in the church staying in their sin and not repenting.

John‬ ‭7‬:‭24‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Jesus said:
“Do not judge according to appearance, but judge with righteous judgment.””

Paul said:
1 Corinthians 5:9-13 NLT

9 When I wrote to you before, I told you not to associate with people who indulge in sexual sin.10 But I wasn’t talking about unbelievers who indulge in sexual sin, or are greedy, or cheat people, or worship idols. You would have to leave this world to avoid people like that. 11 I meant that you are not to associate with anyone who claims to be a believer yet indulges in sexual sin, or is greedy, or worships idols, or is abusive, or is a drunkard, or cheats people. Don’t even eat with such people.
12 It isn’t my responsibility to judge outsiders, but it certainly is your responsibility to judge those inside the church who are sinning. 13 God will judge those on the outside; but as the Scriptures say, “You must remove the evil person from among you.”

Once saved always saved are for all hypocrites and luke warm so called Christians.
Romans. 7 talks about the the narrow gate which to enter very few will find because it's DIFFICULT. We can tell each person by their fruit. Believe me I was living as a hypocrite. But saw the error of my ways through reading God's word

All mean will be saved(1 Timothy 4:10, Psalms 22:27) Every knee will bow and every tongue shall confess Jesus is Lord. Kneeing and bowing is an act of worship, Jesus word is a fire (Jeremiah 23:29)

Unfortunately, this was me the first 23 or 24 years. This is why OSAS is so dangerous because it gives us “license” to sin. No one ever say why we need to repent. No one say unrepentant lifestyle after accepting Christ as Lord and Savior can take us to Hell. No one. Only the Christians who died, end up in Hell, came back alive to tell why they were in Hell.

I go to an apostolic pentecostal church and that is there doctrine. That a person must be baptized in Jesus name and be filled with the holy ghost with evidence of speaking in tounges..

1 Corinthians 15:1-4 KJV

1 moreover brethren I declare unto you the Gospel which I preached unto you which also ye have received and wherein ye stand

The gospel said you can't believe in vain definition of vain having or showing an excessively high opinion of one's appearance abilities or worth

You must believe in once saved always saved its a requirement in order to go to heaven it's all about what Christ did we brag on christ and his finished work as sufficient enough for salvation we are just sinner's the Bible says our righteousness is as filthy rags

Ephesians 2:8 KJV for by grace are ye saved through faith and that not of yourselves it is the gift of God

Ephesians 2:9 KJV not of works lest any man should boast

Roman's 10:4 KJV for Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth

After salvation as a Christian myself that believes in once saved always saved i never thought of using that as a license to deliberately do whatever i want there's still consequences for sins if i as a Christian don't do works then i will lose inheritance that doesn't mean i lose salvation no the inheritance is rewards in heaven the Bible says lay up for yourself treasure in heaven part of these rewards is from obedience it's our reasonable service that we obey God

100% true. . .People are waiting for a second crucifixion rather than the second coming. I hear people place so much stock in their joy of finding Christ and feeling saved, and they proclaim the latter to the world, but all their energy goes into spreading the message instead of living more cleanly in God's favor and serving others. They preach and boast of God's glory, but are more like the Pharisees. "I'm human, I'm not perfect and will always sin, but I'm a 'good person'." Yeah, we are all sinners, but what is worse than most sins is taking for granted the Lord Christ and what was done for us to be saved. Being saved isn't easy; it is a lifelong endeavor until our last breath. Although we were made in the image of God, we are lost and hopeless without faith and devotion to Him. Repenting is necessary, not an accessory.

My brother, it is impossible for people not to sin. The scripture you quoted are those who believed in Christ and there good works to justify there entry into heaven instead of only trusting in Christ Jesus. Check out Roman’s 7:19-25
Jesus is the way the truth and the life only by trusting in him and not yourself not your works like not sinning. Not to say that we should sin, we shouldn’t be and we will sin less and less but we won’t be perfect this side of heaven, sanctification is an on going process, which is why we need Jesus Christ, our savior. Please don’t take offence to this, I don’t mean any, I love you brother, but if we go to God and boast about how we are partly responsible for salvation we will be spit right out from his mouth.
By grace you are saved through faith which is not of your own doing lest any man should boast.

Lies, once saved always saved if your really saved, if your really saved you will not live in sin, God will deal with you and you will repent. If not you’re not saved. I can see trying your hardest in order to not sin . But we ( WE ALL ) Sin each and every day in thought and deed . By this mans reasoning not a soul would go to heaven . Jesus himself said if you even think lust thoughts about another woman its as though you committed adultery. And we have been told there is no good person . No not even 1. So what exactly is this man saying? Does he believe he is sin free . I say to him no not 1.
