I never owned a Wii, but i'm watching wii hacking videos anyway

So I am at the part where I says install System Menu v4.1, and when I press A it tells me that I need IOS 60 installed on my Wii, and when I press A again it backs out. Any idea on how to help this? how can I install IOS 60?

Sadly this only works if you've installed Priiloader first... even if not it didn't work for me.

It didn't work for me, it's the same as if I hadn't followed the steps in the video, I've been trying for about 2 hours to press the power button and hold down the reset button, it doesn't work, I try to hold down the 2 buttons and nothing, I change of SD to usb and it still doesn't work, I don't know what the problem is.

I can access the priiloader screen but i can't navigate down the menu since my wii and wiimote does not sync up.
People say GameCube controller can do the job but again, sadly, i dont have a GC controller

I haven’t used my wii in a while so I decided to turn it on and it’s just showing a black screen. I also did not install homebrew so can I fix it? Also there’s nothing wrong with the Bluetooth module as my wii remote connects to the wii.
