How To Fix a Wii With a Black Screen! - Bootmii Method | InfoCannon

In today's video, I will be teaching you how you can fix/unbrick a nintendo wii that has been bricked with homebrew channel. Now while this method is pretty awesome, it is not universal, and will not work for everyone. Also, I would also like to point out that I am NOT responsible for any damage done to the wii during the process of this tutorial.

In this tutorial, we will be using a method revolving around a genius program called Nand Formatter. The way this works, is we use the SD card to boot into bootmii, allowing us to completely wipe the wii system menu and RE-install the entire system file.

I followed your direction's to a "T", and when I power on my Wii, the Blue LED around the Disk come's on, and the Green light on the power button Comes on, but the screen is still Black.   Nothing..

Man i've done everything just like you did on this vid and i must say I LOVE YOU, my wii went completely full bricked when my ex. friend get to play on his house and did deliver it for me bricked, after look for a clue in many many sites, foruns i've ended up on your vid, and after a few tests i DONE IT, must thank you very much for helping us out, and now my 2 years son will have some good experience with me playing mario and some nintendo exclusive jewels, for those that are not reaching the bootmii screen just like i did when i first try this tutorial i must say check the sd cards, i think mine were good when i did my first try and it was not, buyed a new one tried again and IT WORKS, just dont give boys, it worth a shot BYE.

I think in Bootmii you can also use the power and reset buttons to navigate BootMii

i was on the homebrew channel and i clicked exit to system menu and got a black screen. hope this tutorial works

Let’s imagine that it happens to me, but I have a lot of game savefiles. Question; If I backup my savegames to the SD card BEFORE the brick, then i brick my console, and do what you did, and then copying the backups again to the Wii, would it work?

Will it fixes A blackscreen Mii Channel? Cause this is the only channel who's doing a blackscreen... Others are fine. I even tried to delete mii channel from a wad manager and reinstall 2 version of Mii channel to see and nothing worked. Still blackscreen for Mii Channel. Please reply to help me.

PS: It doesn't matter if your console is on 4.3. After that you will have a clean 4.1 menu. After that you can update the console.
