If anyone doesn’t know what the term “bricked” means, on a Nintendo Wii it means that the console is unusable or damaged in other words Completely broken. But if you have things like boot Mii or priiloader you should be safe

This is wild 50k views over 10 months. Anyway I don’t even use this Wii anymore (and yes it is fine) I now have a modded Wii U but it’s been great having the modded Wii.

That can happen because of faulty channels. Create a new WAD with CustomizeMii and export everything and then import the exported files into the new WAD and you should be good

Btw, that’s probably a BannerBrick. Happens if you download a broken wad. If you have priiloader, just do the start boot and load up your wad manager and delete the defective wad.

That's a corrupted (in other words, broken/malformed/incorrect) WAD. The files are not corrupted.

This gives me PTSD. Back before i got my new Wii, our old one started loading slower and slower and slower, until this message came up. That all happened when i was young, too.

I wanted the Reese’s Puffs channel, I installed the WAD off of a media fire link, and whenever I would be on the home brew channel banned and press plus, I would get that screen. Funny thing is, nothing actually got corrupted, and a simple reset of the Wii would bring everything back to normal. Needless to say, I uninstalled the WAD almost immediately.

It's best to download bootmii or priiloader. Installing both is really safe. If you already have one of them or both, you can boot it up and probably delete the wad in the wad manager.

It's not bricked. Bricked means nothing displays on screen after a jailbreak but still powers on. This is a software issue. Reinstall ofw and jailbreak the wii again

Sucks to see it man. We have our Wii on "life support" as the only apps it can run are the USB loader and Homebrew Channel.

it may just be a glitched WAD, which is a WAD that displays that if you dont go to it from the home menu. All you need to do is remove the glitched WAD and you're good to go!

I also have this problem, but guess what, it’s fine. This is a BannerBrick, it’s usually not lethal and can shut it off and turn it on and it’ll be fine. It happened when he switched to the Reese’s Channel, this also happens to me.

The exact same thing happened to me but i fixed it by unpluging the power and re plugging it a few minutes later
