The sync baby IS outputting RGBS - he is using an LM1881 which provides c-sync and v-sync at TTL levels. He has wired v-sync to the v-sync pin and c-sync to the h-sync pin on the VGA connector. This allows some/many monitors which require separate syncs to work, as many of them will sync to c-sync as h-sync, compatibility will be less than ideal though. However, it should allow for 100% compatibility with displays that accept RGBS, provided they tolerate TTL sync, because it is feeding c-sync directly to the display on the h-sync pin.

How's the paint on the new Joyzz shipments? Yours seems impeccable, Bob, but I show in my video on my channel how easy it is to wear the paint off the shells in just under 2 weeks of fair I haven't gotten a replacement official d-pad, but I replaced mine with a Hyperkin d-pad pretty easily and she works just fine. But the fact that my Joyzz no longer has "Start" or "Krikzz" on the shell is just weird to me, and something I hope Krikzz addresses if he does more controllers.

With regards to the Krikzz 240Hz wireless controller. Can you use the receiver dongle and pair it with other 240Hz controllers, such as those by 8bitdo? Just curious.

Dude. The way you talked about Tommy Tallarico is as if you don’t really know who he is. I’m surprised to hear that he is “president” of Intellivision considering his previous industry roles and artistic focus but his involvement should be more than enough to justify listening to the interview.

He revolutionized Genesis audio and composed for several awesome games, like Earthworm Jim. Even in the ‘90s he worked to legitimize games as art by adopting a rock-star persona and giving media tours of his studio. He was a TV personality for the game industry, much like Adam Sessler except that Tommy was also an industry insider. He created Videogames Live and Dear Friends, the touring stage music events. He’s worked with other game industry music greats, like Sonic Mayhem (007:TWINE) and Nobuo Uematsu (Final Fantasy Dear Friends). Just about anything with Tommy is going to be worth a view/listen/read.

I really don’t understand why you don’t talk about the HUGE UpperGrafx/UperGrafx UGX-02 developments, especially since it’s a real alternative to the Super SD System 3 that never had RGB issues in the first place (perfect digital to digital conversion ala Hi-Def NES). I tweeted at you and commented about it a week ago. I could reach out through Patreon but I shouldn’t have to abuse my Patreon status to submit news this relevant!

Last week UpperGrafx closed the biggest functionality gap it had with the Super SD System 3 by adding virtual HuCard and SuperSystem Card support. The only thing Super SD System 3 does that UpperGrafx does not is eliminate the need for an Arcade Card, but the UpperGrafx does enable you to use a cheaper Arcade Card Duo with hardware that normally requires an Arcade Card Pro (Arcade Card Duo combines with memory from UGX-02’s virtual Super System Card much like it would with a Super CD-ROM²/Duo/Duo R). People need to know that there is a real alternative to Terra Onion!
