About the "ROM cart" debate, my opinion is that the use of the acronym ROM there refers to the loading of ROM files, and not to a physical ROM chip inside the cart. "Flash cart", on the other hand, refers to the media that it loads the ROM files from. So IMO both are correct.

It would be interesting to know what happened with the last batch of PS-IO. I still haven't received mine either. I emailed them two weeks ago and got no response. Tried again yesterday, so far no news. I personally find it suspicious that the batch after that was supposed to open for orders on October. Maybe they oversold and some of us were moved to the October batch. But that's just my speculation.

I'm pretty blown away they restored the bs satellite audio considering what they had to work with. I'm hoping they tackle the third famicom detective club that was released exclusive on bsx. Btw you know anyway who does the game hear tv out mod and screen upgrade?

as for the ps1, i know that there is a breakout cable that adds rca inputs. seems like a good option for light guns, but i dont have one to test. i cant seem to remember its name or cost, but here is a picture:
