Totally agree with the point you're making. One quick comment: Horses are naturally arid habitat creatures and their digestive tracts are BEST suited for dry and dead grasses (hay). Not the lush green grass most people feed, which is a big reason why so many horses are obese (like this cute pony) and also have laminitis, a crippling foot condition. For any people watching, please don't feed horses you don't know green grass (especially if they are in a dry lot like this little pony) as they may be extremely insulin-resistant and could become very sick afterwards. Sometimes horses like this won't be able to walk for days without pain after a single mouthful of green grass so please take that into consideration. Thanks Harley for spreading a light on dietary pseudoscience! :)

Hey Duriand and Freely. I love being vegan and I'm not going against what you say, but I changed my eating habit. I feel headcahes now when I stopped eating meat for almost 3 years. Also I'm losing all my hair everyday. So i started eating beef because the blood type O said so and I do feel better. I'm still against it but I feel way better. Maybe you guys blood types are AB or B thats why you do well on vegetarian diet. I will see what I can do to be Vegan again. I just dont want to shed alot of hair everyday. Ive tried upping my protein from plants and supplementing with Biotin. Ive done ALL of it even sleeping with hair oils to thicken it. i guess i meant to eat lol

I did it before becoming vegan... it was a pain. I couldn't eat avocados, corn, bananas, grains. Once you go vegan, you never go back!

Horses do not have a gall bladder.

Horses must eat constantly, or "trickle feed" to keep food in their stomachs.

Horses stomachs empty at 2/3 full, regardless if the food is not completely digested.

Horses defecate more often (every 2-3 hours).

Horses cannot vomit or burp because they have lack the abdominal muscles and reverse peristalsis reflex in the esophagus.

Horses have a large, functional cecum, while humans have problematic appendix.

Humans have glands that release acids to break down food while horses don't.

Horses have a small stomach and long intestines, while humans have huge stomachs.

Horses are herbivores and humans are omnivores.
