Speak for yourself! A+ here, tried it out 2 years ago and I feel so much better “avoiding” what I’m not supposed to eat. I still eat those “avoidable” foods here and there but I’ve learned to just not consume them often. I’ll be 50 this year and not a single ailment. Read, learn and decide what’s best for you.

I tried it in 2006 and because I'm an O and that diet is close to paleo, it actually helped me a lot. It eventually led me down the path of understanding that mainstream nutrition is bs. Finding the right diet for you is a process and mine started with the bloodtype diet!

The funny thing is, my dad tried the blood type diet 20+ yrs ago and it had him cut out wheat before we knew he had celiac disease. He felt so much better but not for the reasons he thought!
Now he's eating a keto diet and is very healthy.

I did the blood type diet for about a yearI felt better I believe what worked for me on that diet was the elimination of bad foods & seed oils

I did some diving on this subject years ago and I just started to practice it. I am O+ and eating meat, cutting out gluten and grains amongst other created an unbelievable positive change in the way I feel especially in my gut

Well that load of crap helped me to find why I was so allergic to food. I had severe gluten issues. No MD had a slight idea of how to help me. All those load of crap people did was shove an eppy pen in my face cause all they knew was NOTHING! What imbeciles! When I stopped gluten I was a new person. So glad I found that book 20 years ago.

The blood type diet seems to work for a lot of people. Just because it can't be explained right now doesn't mean it doesn't work. Science evolves and may eventually get to a point where this has merit. Until then, let folks do what works for them and quit stigmatizing people.

OMG!! the foods that are listed for me to avoid really do affect my body, When I ignore that information I have extreme reactions so far I have to go with that diet.

When I do strict beef carnivore my sugar goes up from 98 to 120 every morning. I’ve been doing it for 2 years. I recently did experiments by stopping the beef and it’s been going down. I don’t understand. Dr. Nicolas Gonzales had said not every specific diet is for everyone such as keto, carnivore, vegan. You have to do what works for you.

I like to be open-minded, because science hasn’t yet proven all things. I researched it years ago. I looked at blog posts, forums, websites by naturopaths, etc, and I was overwhelmed by how many swore by it. Maybe they were just doing SAD & junk food diets before, or, maybe there’s something to it. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I read a book called, Eat right for your type I think it was called. Basically said certain blood types were found in certain areas of the world and that a lot of times certain foods just didn’t sit well with them. I think O blood types were the carnivores and B types couldn’t digest corn easily. Take this with a grain of salt because it’s been years since I read it. I’m a B type and all I know is eating carbs keeps me fat and bloated. 😂

There's something to it. I was praying a number of years ago, earnestly seeking guidance for nutrition. I was avoiding grains, dairy and meat & waning healthwise, though I was eating eggs with my veg. The thought strongly came to me to look up the blood type diet, which stated that I needed to eat red meat. 🥩 And I know someone else who feels great following the blood type diet guidelines for theirs as well.

My husband and I have discussed this We agree We looked at it closely when it first came out but realized that basically all the diets were similar in that they do away with processed foods and of course that is going to make you feel better and it said his blood type needed only vegetables and very meet but he hates vegetables They taste bitter to him. He's carnivore for going on 3 years now.

Ok so interesting take on this; this short is the first I’ve heard of a blood type diet. I googled the blood type diet for A+, having been into lifting for 10 years now it’s normal for me to cut weight once sometimes twice a year. All foods listed in the A+ diet are those I gravitate towards during cutting season. Not saying there’s a correlation at all but I certainly find it interesting these foods are the ones I am drawn to and that provide the best results year in and year out.😊
