Creating the Perfect Mario Kart Roster

I kept the Babies and Metals in their own slots as they have different weight classes, and the drop down menus are really only for cosmetic changes

As for Gooigi I think he'd have similar stats to Luigi but they're completely different in characteristics so they can have separate slots

The Pac-man characters are included because they all appeared in the Arcade games, regardless if you consider the Arcade games mainline they've still appeared in Mario Kart games

Personally speaking, I would like to see King K. Rool, and also more WarioWare reps (Mona, Jimmy T and Ashley would be good enough), and maybe even Wart, and I don't really _need_ Plessie, the Sprixie Princesses, Gooigi, or Hellen Gravely to be included (same with Toadsworth, Luma, and Polterpup, but to a lesser extent). I also don't see the Namco characters getting outside of Mario Kart Arcade GP, so I think we can effectively replace them with other Nintendo characters, such as Callie and Marie from Splatoon, Min Min from ARMS, Pikachu from Pokémon and Kirby from... Kirby, just to name a few. Also, I think Toad should swap spots with Yoshi, DK with Pauline (so all the Kongs would be together), and Kamek with King Bob-omb (so all the Big Boss characters would be together).
Pretty good roster otherwise.

This is a great roster! One thing I would add is Fire Bro, Boomerang Bro, and Ice Bro for alts of Hammer Bro.

As an Odyssey fan I would have added some more Odyssey characters such as the Broodals, Tostarenans and Shiverians
Also maybe Pianta, Noki, Boom Boom, Pom Pom, Spike and King K. Rool

I would also have colour variations of Toad and Luma. Toads recolours would be blue green yellow and magenta. Lumas recolours would be Polari blue green red and cyan.

This is the best roster I’ve ever seen.

But the fact of you adding namco characters as third party characters. Feels as if Namco were to work with Nintendo in order to make a bigger and better Mario kart game. Not that I hate it, I just thought the last row would only be first Nintendo characters:

In terms of the last 5 characters I put in row 10 would be:

Kirby
Captain Falcon
Zelda
Ashley from Wario Ware
And Rambi or King K. Rool

I'd probably add 4 new guest racers in the form of Kirby, Samus, Captain Falcon, and Pikachu to this roster other than that great Mario Kart roster

Some characters I would like to see some day are
Boom boom, pom pom and il pianissimo

Thats a great roster the only 2 things I would change is Dry Bowser put into a group with regular Bowser and replace that slot with Boom Boom . Then I would take some of the Bandi Namco characters and put in Nintendo 1st party characters. But other than that its a perfect character roster. 👍🏼

I would personally have removed Polterpup and Hellen Gravely and added Midbus and Fawful to the roster since i would love to see some Mario & Luigi representation in the game

This is a very good roster. I'd say 8 or 9 out of 10. I think that Gooigi, Metal Mario and Pink Gold Peach should be replaced by Pianta, Noki and Hammer Bro. This is simply because. I'd also replace Polterpup and Cappy with Boom Boom and Pom Pom.

Great video, I actually would like te koopalings in a grid just like the Yoshi's, because they take spots from other characters. Plus I think adding the arcade characters is a bit to far for Nintendo. i would replace them more with other nintendo characters like, Olimar, Ice Climber and Samus

I love the concept and it reminds me of a video that conceptualizes what Mario Kart 9 could look like. I agree with a lot of the roster choices, though I personally would cut the babies, the Koopalings, Pink Gold Peach, and Metal Mario. I would have the remaining three ghosts from Pac-Man and especially Robo Mario. There are a lot more, but it would probably turn into something different due to the rest consisting of third-parties (though it will not be a lot). If other Nintendo characters were to get in the game, I would rather have them be DLC instead of at launch. Still a great video, nonetheless.
