How Nintendo Could Make Mario Kart 9 the Best Mario Kart Ever

In this video i tried to lay out everything that I want in mario kart 9.
While i was editing i thought of a couple more things so let me know if you want a part two.

There’s a huge nitpick I have with Mario Kart 8, and I hope it gets fixed in the next one. I want more of the Mario game tracks, like Yoshi’s island. I would have loved to race around Fossil Falls, or Bomb-Omb Battlefield.

All I want is Nintendo to add captain falcon and his car in mario kart 9 and I’ll be happy. They already have the f-zero map

For me the biggest thing I want in a new Mario kart game is the ability to unlock characters. I want it to have Easter eggs and give me a reason to start cruising through the game. Instead of doing it for car parts and gold Mario or whatever. A couple other things the story mode type thing they had in the DS version as well the ability to customize the from of your cart. I remember being able to put my name or a logo on the front of my characters carts.

I think adding a mission mode like in ds would be awesome. I also saw a cool custom mk8 track with nether portals, and i think portals would be such a cool gimmick for the next game.

Idea:
Rather than having kart customization by default, there could be pre-made karts and customization for individual parts could be in a dropdown menu

I know they did this in Tour, but Nintendo should add the option to play without music.
Because sometimes the same song can be annoying if you just want to time trial.

Add all the Kongs instead of the koopalings to trade them out (kongs are like funky kong, donkey kong, dixie kong, etc.)
New kart parts

I wish there was an alternative to the kart customization where you could just pick a preset. In MK7 the kart customization was fun because you were playing alone or online, but with MK8 you're usually playing with friends and family. The kart customization just makes it take like 5 minutes for everyone to design their kart when really you just want to get into a race right away. And like you said you usually just find a design you like and stick to it.

On the subject of 7:08, they made 3DS Rainbow Road in Mario Kart Tour (and 8 Deluxe) so flat, and in the original there were so many sections of the track that were like antigravity. I remember when I was younger I imagined what the track would be like in Mario Kart 8 and how most of the track would be antigravity. I ended up being very dissapointed when Wave 3 released and the only antigraviry section was the moon
