Sure there can be a few crossovers but I think there should be around 40 mario characters and 10 crossovers just so its still MARIO kart

Hating on Splatoon and Fire Emblem while choosing Rex, Pyra, and Mythra over Shulk is certainly a choice. I'm a fan of the entire Xenoblade Chronicles series, but I don't know how much of a leg to stand on you have when you choose Rex as a character on the roster.

I've always hated the idea of a Nintendo Kart, the Mario franchise has such a wide selection of character choices to pick from already and the appeal of Mario spin-offs is being able to control these more niche options. We already didn't get Nabbit, Chargin Chuck, Dixie Kong, Poochy, King Bob-omb, etc from Tour in 8 Deluxe and that game's roster is enormous. Nintendo Kart would reduce their chances of being playable to a rock-bottom zero

Regarding the Miis, tbh Nintendo has started doing things here and there with the Miis again. Suddenly returning as player avatars in Pikmin Bloom and Mario Kart Tour.
Those… whatever they were called, in Switch Sports, I get the feeling will be a one game only thing. They probably were intended to formally replace the Miis, but since the reception of that game wasn’t great, it looks like they just went back to the Miis.

From what community overlooking I've done, the general consensus I've seen is that the next Mario Kart SHOULDN'T be Nintendo kart. And while The new crossovers in 8dx were cool, it would be a bit much for that to be the entire selling point. Me personally I feel a good approach would be to leave the 8dx crossovers in 8dx and have 1 or 2 new ones in their place; Let's just Randomly say Captain Falcon and Olimar. Hopefully this way the crossover element can remain fresh without crossing over into Bloat.



But as long as my boy Wiggler is on the roster then all is right with the world
