One of the things I learned from my first year of nursing school is to not over think things, it will only stress you mentally. Focus on finishing your tasks for the day and you'll be shocked to know that the week is almost over —but don't celebrate yet! Because nursing is a never ending study, it's always a happy study sunday for us.

To all incoming & current nursing students, my advice to you is that you must master by heart or have a very firm foundation of knowledge regarding Human ANATOMY & PHYSIOLOGY this will help you in the long run. Cause by truly understanding the concept, you will know easily what are the proper & correct nursing actions(medications, therapies, diagnosis, diagnostic tests, nursing interventions). I was a first-year nursing student. Completely online class. Maybe somehow online class makes the subjects lighter than face to face classes. Maybe that'd the reason why I was able to survive the first sem. Thank you for sharing tips, I thought that I'm the only one who goes through this hard time. Online classes make me feel alone and not helping my mental health. Thank you bring me back to the track.
