“Apple isn’t exactly known for value” I think we really ought to start rethinking that tbh. iPhones are lasting ridiculously long now with some users holding out for 5-6 years with the same phone and great to eventually decent performance through that time. That’s money well spent if you consider other phones last 2-3 years with some manufacturers only offering one year of software support.

This is still an important iPhone for those 10% of us who can’t use OLED due to PWM issues. An SE Plus would have been so welcome, but won’t happen now, I guess as it could eat into the main iPhone sales. The increase in price is across the range due to the expensive 5G modem.

This week I bought a customer return almost new iPhone SE 2020 for £229. It does a similarly good job as the iPhone SE 2022. I do not need 5G because it is unavailable in most of the places that I visit.

Looking forward to saving a ton of money over the lifetime of this phone, it should last even longer than the 6S I’m upgrading from! It currently has just 32 GB of memory I struggle with and 2 hours of active battery usage after a battery replacement years ago so this is going to be amazing in comparison.

As in most phone reviews it’s all talk about cameras and videos. What about call quality, messaging and handicapp features.

I got SE yesterday… this is what I found helpful next to iPhone 12
One hand typing is back
Need not to lift phone to your face to unlock
Battery is as good as iPhone 12
No lag
All the new OS futures.
Only down side is, I miss gestures from iPhone 12
Funny part is, I bought iPhone 8 then expensive screen protector and back cover for dirt cheap (cause it’s 5 years old accessories). If you want to save on accessories, all for iPhone 8, not iPhone se 2022.

Good positive review thank you. Just put a new battery in my iPhone 8 a couple months ago but if I didn’t I would’ve been jumping on this. I should get two more years out of the eight hopefully if it doesn’t slow down too much for apps.

Mine arrives by Friday. Netflix is watched on the large tv. Good price. My size. Good camera. 5G.Love my iPhone 8. Neuralcam app will fix night photos. Touch ID. I don't DL music onto my phone and photos go to Google Photos. 64 GB is all I need.

I’m planning on getting the iPhone se 3 fairly soon to replace my iPhone 8. Everything on my 8 still works as it should, only thing now that I’ve had it for a couple years now is the battery is getting worn down some. Probably not worth replacing it when I would be better off just going to the new se.

Why would the iPhone SE need a different design when Apple have other iPhones that have different designs?

The iPhone SE (should be quiet the iPhone classic) needs to be looked at in the same light as Chuck Taylors or Levi 501 jeans. It’s a classic design that a lot of people are familiar with and love!

Yes I know Apple makes other iPhones that look beautiful, have better specs and technology inside but they just don’t interest me.

I like the iPhone 6 design and the fact that I could have that same design all of these years later, with the internal updated to the newest processor, I think speaks to the genius of Apple!

Who else would give you your favorite phone design 7-8 years later?

Nice wee phone. As an Android user never had an iPhone before but Android phones are just getting way too big and too expensive for me and too complicated. Need a phone that does the basics right and the years and years of updates is very appealing too

I always hate the video playback BS when measuring battery life. I want to know how much screen on time it gets? Because to me that more accurately gauges how regular people use their phone in my opinion. No one is on their phone with video playback until it dies lol 🤣
