Regarding speed, on an Intel Mac I find the current version of Parallels much faster than VirtualBox. Not by a little margin.

Thanks! I use VB on a 2016 MBP 8GB, kinda slow, but hoping to upgrade to an M1. I tried the parallels trial, very nice & it allowed install of Windows 11 with no custom mods required.

I was trying playing WoW Wotlk on m1 air in parallels and i was shocked getting 60fps at 4k res! I bet if i do this on VirtualBox on my gaming PC it would run at 10 due to emulated graphics

VirtualBox for Linux on a Mac didn't work for me. It was extremely slow and there were a lot of issues with it.
