How to Change the Default Google Account

You probably have more than one Google account, perfect for maintaining a healthy sense of separation between work and personal life. Thankfully, switching between the two can be as easy as a few clicks, but sometimes, the wrong account ends up as the default.If you want to switch it to something else, here’s what you need to know.

There are tons of videos on how to change the default card or bank account and even some on making GPay your default payment method. But your video is the only one I could to find to learn How to Change the Default Google Account so that my Gpay uses the correct account. Thanks.

Thank you for this information. It is incomprehensibly stupid that Google won't let us log out of a single account instead of all of them, and unbelievable that it won't let us simply select our default account instead of forcing it on us by the mere happenstance of which account we accessed first.

Ok if your using a newer model click the clock and sign out... Then add another 'person'

I've watched multiple videos and the solution is always that button.
Sadly I dont have a "sign out to all accounts" button

That is, until you log on to the account registered to the Chrome Profile. As soon you log on to that account, this account will "hijack" the default status, even if it is the 8th account you log on to.

Hi! I want one of my gmail accounts to be the default so when I open gmail that is the logged in one, but I want to remain logged in into YouTube when I open it from my OTHER gmail account. Is this possible? If yes, do you know how to do this?

In the address bar section, all the way to the right, is another photo of me from another account, while the account I use as my default is on my main page. I dont know how to change this (and it clear show my old account). I wish I could add a screen shot.
