Fun fact: that is where the second phase of Godfrey is stored. When you hit that second phase cutscene, they teleport the character up to the boss arena as the fade to black happens

Okay so for those who don't understand, 1st Lord Godfrey and Horah Loux are 2 seperate character models that swap out during the phase swap of his boss fight.
Because the game doesn't know when you'll fight him, they choose to have his secondary model constantly loaded in outside the normally playable area, on standby.
